Note: We do not directly collect or store your payment card information. All payment processing is handled by the Apple App Store. Subscription management is handled by RevenueCat, which processes subscription data on our behalf. We only receive transaction confirmations and subscription status from these third-party services.

History Data: Your saved words, definitions, quotes, and favourites are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to our servers or shared with third parties unless you submit them via "Feature Request."

We retain feature requests in Firestore until you request deletion. Subscription and payment data is retained as required by law and for accounting purposes. Usage, crash, and analytics data are retained according to each service’s policy.
Your data may be processed outside your jurisdiction. When we transfer personal data from the European Economic Area (EEA) to other countries, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards where required, such as standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, adequacy decisions, or reliance on our providers’ commitments to comply with applicable data transfer rules. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your data to countries outside your jurisdiction where applicable.
In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the relevant supervisory authority (in Poland: President of the Personal Data Protection Office, UODO) without undue delay and, where feasible, within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach. If the breach is likely to result in a high risk to you, we will also inform you without undue delay. If not all information can be provided at once, we may provide it in phases. We use HTTPS/TLS for all network requests. We follow reasonable security practices but cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our App is suitable for general use; data collection and purchase requirements vary by jurisdiction:
EU – Data Collection: To collect your personal information, you must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age in your country, e.g. 15 in France). If you are under that age, a parent or legal guardian must consent. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of consent without verifiable parental consent.
Outside EU (e.g. US): You must be at least 13 years old. In the US we comply with COPPA and do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.
Premium: To purchase a subscription, you must be at least 18 years old, or a parent/guardian must make the purchase on your behalf.
If we learn we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child in violation of applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. Parents who have questions or wish to review, delete, or refuse further collection of their child's information may contact us at dev.ohmyapp@gmail.com.
Links to third-party sites (e.g. privacy policy links in the table above) are not under our control; review their policies separately.
This section applies solely to California residents. We adopt this notice to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
Information we collect: See Sections 2 and 4. In the past 12 months we may have collected: identifiers (e.g. device identifiers, IP); commercial information (e.g. subscription/purchase history); internet or similar network activity (e.g. app usage, events).
Use: We use personal information to provide and improve the App, manage subscriptions, respond to inquiries, and for analytics and security, as described in Section 3.
Sharing: We share personal information with service providers (e.g. RevenueCat, Apple, Firebase, Mixpanel, Google Vision, OpenAI) as described in Section 4. We do not sell your personal information.
Your rights: You have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, to opt-out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell), and to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. To exercise, send a verifiable consumer request to dev.ohmyapp@gmail.com. We will respond within 45 days (or up to 90 days with notice). Deleting data from our systems does not delete data stored locally on your device; uninstall the App to remove local data.
Residents of these states may have rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of their personal information, and to opt-out of targeted advertising or the sale of personal information. We do not sell your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at dev.ohmyapp@gmail.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
